So Far, So Good

Today has been much calmer, so far. Hopefully, it will remain that way. Casey felt that his interview went really well. He said that the people that interviewed him said that he did really well too. They said they'd be contacting him for a second interview. We knew beforehand that it was a 2 interview process, so that's a good thing! Casey ended up going to the doctor on Monday. He battled with a bad sore throat all weekend. He had no other sypmtoms on Monday, so the doctor diagnosed him with acid reflux and gave him some prescriptions. His throat is feeling better, but after his interview yesterday he went downhill fast. Now he is coughing, blowing his nose, and trying to breathe basically. I think he has a sinus infection. So today, I've got to call the doctor back to see what he thinks. Poor thing, he was up all night long just trying to breathe. Speaking of doctors, Mom's appointment went o.k., but she ended up having more tests. The specialist doesn't think we'll find anything wrong, but he wants to be sure. So sometime this week, his office will contact me to schedule an ultrasound for her. The test that he did in the office on Monday said that everything was fine. This is just a final test to make sure that her kidneys are o.k., and that she doesn't have any stones. Everyone keep your fingers crossed for a good outcome.

I did end up getting my new tire yesterday afternoon. We were only able to get the one, because we got a really good one. We are going to go back Friday to have the other front tire replaced as well. Then we'll work on the back tires. Hopefully before Christmas, I'll have all new tires. Nothing but the usual work stuff going on today. I'll be updating the photoblog shortly too! TAH for now!
