Another Day.....

...older, and hopefully wiser. Unfortunately, I woke up this morning to a clogged kitchen sink. I suppose it's nothing a good plumber can't fix. It was just a crappy way to start out a birthday. I had the feeling that I should have stayed in bed. Luckily, the rest of the day hasn't been bad at all. I've received LOTS of birthday wishes and calls. I also have a pan of homemade toffee bars, courtesy of my good friend Zinia.....YUM!! So, I guess I can't complain. I don't have any real celebration plans for tonight. We're waiting until the weekend to really celebrate. On Saturday, Casey, Mom, and I are going to Mufreesboro to shop and have a birthday meal. We have some gift cards that are burning holes in our pockets. I do think that Casey is making me my requested meal of jambalaya tonight. Right now after the last week and few days off, I'm looking forward to getting home and seeing those, too cute for words, puppies of mine.
